Running 13, 13.1's in 2013 and the thoughts along the way!

Love That Dirty Water!

on July 1, 2013

What happens when you run the last 7 miles of the Boston Marathon Course at 12:30am on a Sunday night? You feel exhausted, yet proud to be part of something so unique and special on Monday morning.

The Baton that has traveled over 3000 miles, got to carry it up Heartbreak for a few minutes

As I ran the last 800 yards down Boylston at close to 1a, it was a surreal yet cool feeling to have that many people out cheering us on and coming together to celebrate a run that started in California 3 weeks ago and is now here in Boston. Despite the very delayed start, I am happy I did it and I think one of the organizers said it best, “hopefully this event has brought a little bit of positivity back into a very stressful world”. Mission Complete!

Run On-

Oh Boston You’re My Home!
